Displaying Notices in Portal pages (can be filtered by audience or label)

The option to display Notices in Portal pages requires the 'Notices app' to be enabled (see: Enabling and Configuring the Notices App for steps. Once this has been done the URL can be added into a Portal page.

Filtering options

To filter the notices displayed in a portal page, enter parameters after the URL. For example, notices.schooldomain/?label=Middle Years Students&student=true (filter by label and student). A list of available filter options can be found in the article Enabling and Configuring the Notices Wallboard URL (Externally Accessible Notices).

Creating a Portal page to display the Notices

  1. Go to the Administration workspace > Portal pages
  2. Select Add page > Classic
  3. Under 'URL' enter the Notices URL minus the preceding "https://"", for example, notices.schooldomain/?label=Middle Years Students&student=true
  4. Open the tab People ad select the people you would like to have access to view the Portal page
  5. Click Save

Once the above has been done the filtered notices will display in SEQTA under 'Portal workspace' (SEQTA Teach), or 'Portals' (in SEQTA Learn and SEQTA Engage)
