The SEQTA sync process cannot directly sync with Active Directory. Due to this, the account information (ie. the username) cannot be synced into SEQTA automatically. Rather, one of the following options need to be used:
- If the username is stored in the school's Admin system (eg. Synergetic), (even if it's the first part of the email address), we can add it to the auto sync.
- Enter the username directly into the user record in SEQTA through the Administration workspace>Data management>Student or Staff. Not recommended as this method is slow and likely to suffer from errors.
- Please contact the SEQTA Support team via the Help portal to request the Active directory script be run to export the usernames from AD into SEQTA. This script is only run upon confirmation from the School Education Contact or the School Technical Contact after there is a large influx of new students.
