Student account setup process

This article outlines the steps for setting up a student accounts (ie. entering a username) when the following conditions, below, are in place:

  • The record account has already been created or synced into SEQTA. 
  • The username is not synced from an external system
  • External Authentication is being used to access SEQTA Learn

Entering the username into a student record

  1. Click on the Administration workspace icon > Data Management
  2. Select Students from the left-hand menu.
  3. Use the search box in the top left corner to find the student
  4. Click on the student record to open the edit dialogue pane
  5. Type in the student username. If using Active Directory this will be the Active Directory username. For some school's the username may be the user's email address.
  6. Click the Save
