Displaying future students in SEQTA

Students who will be attending the school at a future point in time can be displayed in SEQTA. This can be manged in-house if student and staff data is not being synced.

Syncing future students

If the data is synced from an external system the Sync code may need to be adjusted. To discus this option further please raise a ticket with the SEQTA Service desk. Email authorisation from the school's SEC or STC is required for change to be made to the Sync.

Process for managing future students

This process is completed through the Data Management page (internally managed), or via the sync (externally managed)

• Create a new campus, for example 'Future students'
• Assign the future students to the campus
• Assign staff that need to be able to view future students to the campus
