Student roll over for student records managed directly in SEQTA (non-synced)

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Rolling students into the new school year

  1. Go to the Administration workspace > Data Management> Students
  2. Search for the student then click on the record to open the edit window
  3. Change the year level
  4. Click Save
  5. Refresh/reload so the changes show in the SIP

Archiving student records for students who have left

  1. Go to the Administration workspace > Data Management> Students
  2. Search for the student then click on the record to open the edit window
  3. Enter an exit date, this will be the last day the student attended classes
  4. Change the student 'Status' to LEFT
  5. Click Save
  6. Refresh/reload so the changes show in the SIP

Adding new students

  1. Go to the Administration workspace > Data Management> Students
  2. Search for the students surname to ensure the student hasn't already been added
  3. Check the format the student 'code' has been entered for other students
  4. Click Add new record
  5. Fill out the details for the student, ensure the following fields have been filled out:
    • Student name, gender etc.
    • Entry date
    • Campus, Roll etc.
    • Status (type in  FULL)
  6. Click Save
  7. Refresh/reload so the changes show in the SIP
