Rolling students into the new school year
- Go to the Administration workspace > Data Management> Students
- Search for the student then click on the record to open the edit window
- Change the year level
- Click Save
- Refresh/reload so the changes show in the SIP
Archiving student records for students who have left
- Go to the Administration workspace > Data Management> Students
- Search for the student then click on the record to open the edit window
- Enter an exit date, this will be the last day the student attended classes
- Change the student 'Status' to LEFT
- Click Save
- Refresh/reload so the changes show in the SIP
Adding new students
- Go to the Administration workspace > Data Management> Students
- Search for the students surname to ensure the student hasn't already been added
- Check the format the student 'code' has been entered for other students
- Click Add new record
- Fill out the details for the student, ensure the following fields have been filled out:
- Student name, gender etc.
- Entry date
- Campus, Roll etc.
- Status (type in FULL)
- Click Save
- Refresh/reload so the changes show in the SIP
