Timetable periods, Report types, Report templates and Value templates can be hidden to prevent teachers from entering reporting data under the incorrect options.

Hiding or unhiding Report types

1. Click on Administration workspace > Data management > Report types
2. Click on the record that you wish to change
3. Tick or untick the Hidden checkbox as required
4. Click Save to keep changes

Hiding or unhiding Report templates

1. Click on Administration workspace > Curriculum setup > Report templates
2. Click on the record that you wish to change
3. Tick or untick the checkbox Hide this report template as required
4. Click Save

Hiding or unhiding Values templates

1. Click on Administration workspace > Curriculum setup > Value templates
2. Click on the record that you wish to change
3. Tick or untick the checkbox Hide this value template as required
4. Click Save

Hiding or unhiding Timetable periods in the Marks book and School values

When a Timetable period is not set as Visible in Marks book (ie: the checkbox is empty) the following will apply:

• The timetable period will no longer be available for selection in the reporting section in the Marks book. Teachers will only be able to view reporting data for the timetable periods the class is bridged across.
• The timetable period will no longer be available for selection in the School values... entry box in the Pastoral care workspace (Student summary > In brief and > In detail).
• NOTE: Classes in the teacher's timetable will not be hidden.

The steps for changing the visibility options for a timetable period are as follows:

1. Click on Administration workspace > Timetable management > Cycle/Period Setup
2. Select the timetable period that needs the visibility to be changed
3. Select or deselect the checkbox Visible in marks book as required
4. Click Save
