Why does the system prompt to download PowerPoint presentations uploaded as resources?
The system cannot embed Power point presentations. Rather, they display as a card showing the first image in the presentation. When clicked, it will prompt the user to download the file.
Using the HTML module it may be possible to get this to work, however, assistance with writing and troubleshooting issues with HTML code, is not covered by the SEQTA Service Desk. The embed code (if available) comes from the provider (i.e. Microsoft) and they may have restrictions in place to prevent embedding.
Cannot download resource file of type .dwg from online lesson
For certain file type extensions the 'Open With/Save File' option is not presented. As a workaround, AutoCAD files with extension type .dwg could be zipped and uploaded as a .zip file into the online lesson.
