Can I record sound when using the Screen Recording Option?
No, there is no option to have audio recording together with a 'Screen' recording. Rather, only with Video.
Does Media Recording work with Safari?
Not at this point. Safari doesn't currently support full API media integration however this is expected to change in iOS version 14.3.
What determines whether or not I can Record Media?
There are various configuration settings that need to be set correctly for the option to record to show.
- The Application setting 'Enable media recorder' for staff must be enabled.
- You must also give your browser permission to use your microphone and video. How you do this may be different from browser to browser.
- You will need a microphone and video build-in or plugged into your computer for the browser to detect.
