In some cases, your school may find that SEQTA Teach is working as expected for most of the staff, but one staff member (or a small number) finds that SEQTA is very slow or unable to open the timetable page or the programme. Often they report that SEQTA was working without issue but the problem started recently. The loading issue is the same for the staff member, regardless of what device or browser they use for accessing SEQTA.
We have found that this is often related to the combined size of images, videos or other files that have been added to a programme. This might be as part of lesson planning, online lessons, lesson notes or other areas.
SEQTA has an Application setting that can be used to control the size of attached files, but it is possible to use copy/paste or drag and drop to add files of any size to the editing screens in SEQTA. If files or media have been added using these methods the size limit is bypassed.
As the page or programme is blocked, please contact the SEQTA Support team for assistance. Please provide the following information:
- Name of teacher
- Name of class and programme
- Date when the issue first started
Our team will use that information to investigate the cause.
