There are some occasions when the SEQTA Engage app (either iPhone or Android) will not correctly display the lesson or course content, portal page, or other pages where large numbers of images or complex layouts have been used. This can be due to lack of memory, small screen size, low processing power, phone OS installation issues or a combination of these and other factors.
Symptoms may include:
- Blank screen (white or black)
- Slow loading of images
- Slow response to menu selection
- App appears to be frozen
If the page displays without issues on a computer and on other phones, please check with the parent to confirm their phone setup, and investigate whether the issue is occurring for many parents or only one or two.
If the issue is widespread, please raise a ticket with the SEQTA Support team, and pass on the following information:
- Phone brand and specifications (eg: model, RAM, OS version)
- Teacher, class name and programme details if a lesson issue (specify online lesson or lesson planner)
- SEQTA page that is causing the issue (if not a lesson)
