When a student leaves the school, they will remain visible in the Marks book until the Exit date in the student record has passed or they are un-enrolled from the class.
The Exit date will only sync from your school's admin system if it has been entered prior to the student record being archived. Refer to the article Syncing the Student Exit Date for more information.
- Go to the Administration workspace>Data management>Students.
- Use the search box to find the student record, then click the record to open the edit pane.
- Scroll down and enter the Exit date (the student will not show in the Marks book after this date).
- Click Save.
Why does the student show in the Marks book and not in the Attendance roll?
The Marks book looks at the Exit date in the student record, whereas the Attendance roll page looks at the Status.
