This article outlines the steps for printing the following class lists. The best suited report will depend on the information required.

Attendance Roll Reports: Printing Reports for Roll Marking or Student Photos

Various class list reports can be printed through the Timetable page. PDF and Excel format reports are available.

  1. Go to the Teaching Workspace > Timetable > My Day/My Classes/Traditional view/Calendar.
  2. If printing on behalf of another teacher select their name in the top-right corner.
  3. If required change the date to a point in time when the class is held.
  4. Select the 'Attendance' icon for the class.
  5. Select 'Print' to print one of the PDF reports available (Attendance table, Class list, Student photos).
  6. Alternatively, select 'Export' to publish in CSV format. This shows student code, name, house, year, roll group and email
  7. Select 'Click Here to Access Your Document'.

Class Statistics Report: Printing Class Lists 'en masse'

The 'Class Statistics' report is an Attendance report. However, it is often used for class lists as it can be run to include multiple classes. This report generates an Excel file (XLSX).

  1. Go to the Administration Workspace > Attendance administration.
  2. Search for the report 'Class Statistics' then click to select the report.
  3. Set the Date Range to include one full cycle (eg: one week) in which students are enrolled in the class.
  4. Click 'Print'.
  5. Columns A to N are student data. Columns O to Z are attendance data.

Class list: List of students with an empty grid

  1. Go to the Pastoral Care Workspace > Student Summary > Reporting.
  2. Select the report 'List of Students Includes empty grid'.
  3. Select the ellipsis button (...) next to the 'Select student' drop-down menu.
  4. Select Class, choose the Timetable Period, then select the Class (use the search box to search with class code or teacher name). Click OK to populate the student names into the column.
    • There are other ways to select the list of students which will also work, but for a class list this is the best method.
  5. Click 'Print' and select 'Click here to access your document.'
  6. If you need to print additional classes select 'Clear' from the bottom of the student list on the left-hand side, before selecting the next class group.
  7. Complete steps 4 and 5 above.
