Using the Report Editor
The Report editor is typically used by report or curriculum administrators to view, edit and/or delete reporting data and school values.
The Report editor can also be used to save time entering School Values as it is possible to scroll through the students without the need to select the Timetable Period, Report Type and Add School Values button for each student.
This Article contains the following sections:

- Where is the data in the Report editor drawn from?
- Entering, editing and deleting School values
- Permissions required to access the Report editor
Adding School values to reports
- Method One: Add each School values section individually for each student. See below for steps.
- Method Two: Add all the School values section en masse by pushing attendance onto reports. Refer to Displaying attendance on academic reportsfor steps. The attendance stats can be pushed onto reports again at any point, to update the attendance, for example, just prior to printing.
- NOTE: Method 2 is only appropriate if attendance is stored in the same Value template as the School values. If they are stored separately the academic report may not display as expected.
Where is the data in the Report editor drawn from?
- Reporting data sections display with purple headers. This information is drawn from the Marks book.
- Value template sections display with green headers. This information is drawn from the School values added through the Pastoral Care workspace or the Report editor.
Entering, editing and deleting School values
- Go to the Administration workspace > Academic Reports > Report Editor.
- Select a student, then on the right-hand side select the Report Type and Timetable Period.
