Synergetic integration setup process

Introduction

SEQTA can be integrated with Synergetic to allow parents and students to perform actions that were previously only available within Synergetic (eg. updating their details, completing forms, and making subject selection).
 

Synergetic provide the information required to enter into the Application settings in SEQTA (steps below).  Contact codes in SEQTA need to match with the synergetic community id. 

Enabling Synergetic integration

  1. Go to the Administration workspace > Application settings > Application settings
  2. Type 'Synergetic' (without the quotes) in the search box in the top-right corner
  3. Then enter the Community portal base URL, Pre-shared key, and Synergetic WebService base URL obtained from Synergetic.
  4. Enable the pages to display in SEQTA Engage
  5. Click Save in the top-left corner
  6. Refresh the page and test the integration.


Enabling pages in SEQTA Learn and SEQTA Engage

Once setup the above is setup and working the pages can be made available in SEQTA Learn and SEQTA Engage by enabling the pages in Application settings.

  1. Go to the Administration workspace > Application settings > Application settings
  2. Type 'Synergetic' (without the quotes) in the search box in the top-right corner
  3. Search for the section 'Synergetic integration' and enable the options as required.
  4. Click Save in the top-left corner. Check to confirm setup was successful. Click here for steps for masquerading as guardians or students.
