  1. Click on Teaching workspace > Timetable > My classes > click on the Marks book icon
  2. Click on the Turnitin icon at the top of the submission column.  This should open Turnitin in a popup window.
  3. Click Settings to make configuration changes, or click on the file name to view a student submission.

Accessing Turnitin through Overview of assessments

Once an assessment has been set as a Turnitin assessment, teachers can access the assessment settings and student submissions by clicking on the Turnitin icon in the Marks book or under 'Overview of assessments'.

  1. Click on Teaching workspace > Timetable > My classes > Load programme > Overview of assessments
  2. Navigate to the Submission pane and click on the Launch button next to the Turnitin icon.
  3. This should open Turnitin in a window.
  4. Click Settings to make configuration changes, or click on the file name to view a student submission

Viewing and editing assessment results

Results entered through Turnitin will automatically sync from Turnitin into the Marks book. The Turnitin result can be overwritten by typing the result directly into the Marks book. Note: Results entered into the Marks book directly will not sync into Turnitin.

  1. Click on Teaching workspace > Timetable > My classes > click on the Marks book icon
  2. The Turnitin Result will display with a yellow background. If this has been overridden, the result in Turnitin can still be viewed by hovering over the result in SEQTA.
