Introduction
Inconsistencies with student enrolments should be addressed promptly to ensure teachers know which students to expect in their class and can mark the roll accordingly. It is also important to be aware that most enrolment changes only apply from the current time onwards.
Please refer to this article for more information: Best Practices for managing student enrolments in SEQTA
IMPORTANT: Backdating or correcting enrolment details may be a chargeable process. If so our Professional Services team will scope the task and provide a quote for the work.
Requesting enrolment changes be backdated
Backdating student enrolments for externally managed classes can only be done directly through the database. Please contact the SEQTA Support team via the Portal with the following required information:
- Student/s affected
- Class code/s
- Enrol or Unenrol student from class
- Backdate to date
Correcting attendance
If a student is appearing in classes when they did not attend the school, an Attendance solution can be entered to prevent teachers from entering attendance for that period of time. In addition to this the enrolments will need to be corrected. Please contact the SEQTA Support team via the Help portal.
