If a subject appears two or more times under Courses and Assessments in SEQTA Learn and SEQTA Engage, this generally indicates one of the following scenarios has occurred:
- There is more than one programme attached to the class. This is nearly always the result of a programme setup issue. A class should generally only have one programme attached. (VET courses may be an exception).
- If a student changes classes at some point, for example from 7MAT#1 to 7MAT#2, then two instances of the subject will appear in SEQTA Learn and SEQTA Engage. This is by design to ensure the student has access to all the lesson information from the class they were previously enrolled in and the class they are currently enrolled in. Previously, students enrolled in classes set up with Pathways would lose access to lessons, homework and resources from the original class.
- There are enrollments with an un-enrolled date prior to commencement of classes. This issue cannot be identified through SEQTA Teach, however, if the above checks did not provide a resolution this is likely the cause. Please contact the SEQTA Support team via the Help portal for confirmation and resolution. Be sure to provide one or two examples (teacher, student name and class/subject name).
