The following permissions determine who can record and configure Traits.
| Permission | Functionality | Dependency |
| DATA: EDIT (admin only) | Required to setup and configure traits through the Data Management page | No dependency |
| TRAITS (teachers) | The option to record traits through the Attendance Roll page | ATT: EDIT (i.e.access to the Attendance Roll Page) |
