Changing Permissions Assigned to a Group

  1. Click the Administration Workspace > Permission Management.
  2. Find the Permission Group on the left-hand side that you would like to change the permissions for.
  3. Select or deselect the permissions for that Group as required. If you know the permissions name use the key-combo <Ctrl>+F to search.
  4. Click 'SAVE' to keep the changes.

Deleting Permission Groups

  1. Click the Administration Workspace > Permission Management.
  2. Select the 'Manage Groups' button from the toolbar.
  3. Find the 'Permission Group' on the left-hand side (i.e. Teachers).
  4. Click the 'Bin' icon next to the group name.
  5. Click 'Bin' then 'Close'.

Deleting Locked Permission Groups

'Permission Groups' can only be 'Deleted' if they are not 'Locked'. A Locked Permission group indicates there is a staff member assigned to the group with no username in the staff record, or that the staff member is assigned to a different campus or no campus.

If unable to determine which staff record is causing the group to be locked please contact the SEQTA Service Desk requesting the group be deleted.

Alternatively, if details of staff record causing the group to be locked can be provided, you may remove them after a 'Username' and 'Salutation' is added into their Staff Record in SEQTA.
