Polls are available through SEQTA Creator on the 'Programme Cover Page', 'Online Lessons' and 'Portal Pages'. The voters can be made visible or hidden, and this setting applies to all who have access to that poll.

Participation Requirements (Who Can Participate on Polls)
Only Students can participate on polls created within a 'Programme Cover Page' or 'Online Lessons'. Whereas, anyone can vote on Polls created within a 'Portal Page', providing they can view the page.
Creating Polls
- Access SEQTA Creator.
- Click-and-drag 'Poll Module' onto canvas.
- Enter the Poll Title in the Poll text field.
- Set the 'Status' as 'Open' to allow voting, or 'Closed' to disable voting (the Poll can then be 'Opened' at a later date if needed).
- Enter poll options.
- Click 'Apply' to save the changes.
Editing Polls
Polls can be edited at any point. However, editing will invalidate the poll and delete all the votes collected so far.
- Access SEQTA Creator.
- Click on the 'Configure' icon for the Poll module. This will open the Poll module in 'Edit Mode'.
- If no one has completed the poll the standard edit options will display. Whereas, if anyone have voted on the Poll the 'Unlock' option will display.
- To continue, selecting 'Unlock' this will allow edits.
Closing Polls
- Access SEQTA Creator.
- Click on the Configure icon for the Poll module. This will open the Poll module in edit mode.
- Select Close, then click Apply.
Deleting Polls
- Please note that deleting a Poll will also delete any votes participants have made for that Poll.
- Access SEQTA Creator.
- Click on the Delete icon.
- Click Delete to confirm.
- Participating in Polls.
- Navigate to the Poll location (i.e. 'Portal Page', 'Online Lesson').
- Select one of the Poll options.
- Click Vote. If others have completed the Poll additional information will be provided after the vote.
