Using the Planner to create lessons

Modified on Tue, 24 Mar at 5:19 AM

Lesson outlines are typically used by teacher to hold their own notes and resources however they can be made Visible to Students and Guardians.

Lesson outline has a simple editor which only allows minimal formatting (bold, underline, headings). Rich content suitable for students is best created using SEQTA Creator in 'Online lessons'.

  1. Go to Teaching Workspace > Timetable > My Classes/Traditional view/Calendar
  2. Click on the Load Programme icon for the class
  3. Select Planner
  4. Enter the lesson topic
  5. If not working on the current weeks lessons click the "v" icon on the topic bar to display additional fields
  6. Click the Pencil icon to open the lesson editor and add content
  7. Click Save
  8. If required enter homework, add syllabus and essential learning fields
  9. To add resources click the "+" at the bottom of the lesson to add a resource
