Teaching timetable not visible on iPad

Modified on Mon, 23 Mar at 2:49 AM

This issue occurs when Private browsing is enabled on the iPad. Private browsing prevents the SEQTA authentication from working correctly. This means, after the initial log-in, SEQTA Teach can no longer check the permissions, which is why the Timetable doesn't display.

To correct this issue, turn off private browser using the steps below. Your school's IT can assist with this process if required.

The steps for turning off private browsing in Safari are as follows:

  1. Open Safari (the web-browser)
  2. Click on the + to open a new tab
  3. Click on the Private button
  4. Select Close All
  5. Log back in to SEQTA Teach. The timetable should no longer be blank.

The steps for turning off private browsing in Safari for older ipads are as follows:

  1. Press the Home button (the button located on the face of the iPad)
  2. Select Settings Safari
  3. Find the setting Turn off Private Browsing and move the slider to the off position. It may prompt you to apply to current tabs, select 'Close all tabs'
  4. Log back in to SEQTA Teach. The timetable should no longer be blank.

Reload the SEQTA Teach, the timetable should display correctly now.
