Deleting programmes

Modified on Fri, 27 Mar at 4:42 AM

Programmes cannot be deleted. This is to prevent results in the Marks book, lesson content, resources and other associated data from being deleted and to ensure data integrity.

Programmes are assigned to the timetable period 'Unattached' (ie. the recycle bin) are not attached to any classes. Some may be flagged with 'Has student data' which means there are results in the Marks book that cannot be seen until the programme is shared back to it's class. This typically occurred due to Programme setup issues or incorrectly Removing a class bridge.

Timeout issues when searching for programmes

If no filters are selected, for example no staff member or timetable period selected the query may take too long to return results and the browser will timeout. When this occurs refresh/reload the page and be sure to run with some filters selected.

Removing a programme from List of programmes

If a teacher does not want to see the programme in their List of Programmes page set the owner to SEQTA Software. This way the programme will not appear under their name, but will still be available under the staff member SEQTA Software should it be required.

If required a once of bulk change can be made to assign all Programmes under 'Unattached' to SEQTA Software. This can be set to exclude Programmes with results in the marks book should they need to be Shared back to the class

This steps for this process are as follows:

  1. Click on the Load the programme icon
  2. Change the 'owner' of the programme to SEQTA Software.
